How long have you been teaching music for?

  • I have been teaching music since 2005.

What are your qualifications?

  • I have studied music academically since about 2004 and have acheived the following:

    • Associate Diploma with the Victoria College of Music London in Performance

    • Bachelor of Music Degree with NUI Maynooth

    • Post Graduate Diploma in Music Technology with NUI Maynooth

    • Masters Degree in Music Composition with NUI Maynooth

What instruments do you teach?

  • While I am a multi-instrumentalist I would specialise in teaching Flute, Recorder, Guitar and Ukulele.

  • I can also provide tuition for Music Theory, and Junior and Leaving Cert music.

What age groups do you cater for?

  • The youngest student I have taught was 7 years old.

  • The eldest will be celebrating her 90th birthday later this year (2023).

Do you do private lessons?

  • Lessons would normally be one-to-one but group lessons are also available.

  • Lessons can be conducted over Skype or Zoom

What sort of lesson plan do you have for students of grade [x] standard?

  • All lesson plans are tailored for each student.

Do your students complete exams?

  • Short answer is: yes. The long answer is: only if the student wishes to.
  • Lessons are tailored around the student's own goals and needs.

Where are you based?

  • I currently operate from my home in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

  • Lessons can be conducted over Skype or Zoom

What style of music do you play?

  • I float somewhere between Rock, Pop, Jazz and Blues

How do I book lessons with you?

What method of payment do you take?

  • Currently, I accept cash, cheque, bank transfer and PayPal

    • Receipts are available on request
