Song-writing is an activity that seems to thrive on anger, pain and a general sense of melancholy. My friends and I came up with a theory that it’s the easiest set of emotions to bring up on command and even easier to relate to. As such, writing a happy song can really throw a song-writer off. So much so that their overall writing style has to change to accommodate this completely new concept.

This song was premièred in its rawest of states on the 15^th of November in the Arkrock Café in Arklow, Co. Wicklow in Ireland. This song is a nice change of pace from my usual style of writing. It cannot be denied that there is a certain influence of Country in it.
