Scream – Choral Edition!

Last week, I mentioned the second concert of the Feis Canadh were Conor O’Reilly did an amazing choral arrangement of my song “Scream”. I performed this with the Tallaght Choral Society and Conor even played piano for the performance as well. All in all it was an amazing night and I’m so glad to have gotten the opportunity to work with the Tallaght Choral Society, as well as, Conor O’Reilly.

So, without further ado, here is the video:

Latest News – 13th November 2013

Ladies and gentlemen,

The last few weeks have been quite eventful. In October, as part of the Tallaght Songwriting Collective I performed at the first ever Feis Canadh concert held in St Maelruains church, in Tallaght. Mark Geary was the main act that night and to be quite honest, it was a brilliant experience all round. A lovely venue, really great acts and a captivated audience.

November saw the concert in the Feis Canadh series where the Tallaght Choral Society backed songwriters from Tallaght Songwriting Collective (including yours truly). The choral arrangements of the songs were done by Conor O’Reilly who added a whole new dimension to all of the songs. The main act was Méav Ní Mhaolchatha (formerly of Celtic woman) who put on a great show. I performed alongside her for her song “Wayfaring Stranger” which had a wonderful atmosphere helped by the brilliant venue of St. Aengus’ Parish Church. Supporting everyone was Shane Ó Fearghail (from Caruso)

In other news, Tony Bardon‘s album “Songs from the Hazelwood” is coming along nicely. We have got three songs set up now with really nice demo recordings available on Jamendo. All three songs are being well received, I’d love to hear what you think of them.

Solomon to Sheba
September 1913
An Irish Airman Forsees His Death

As for my own album, it’s all coming together nicely. I’ll be keeping you updated on soundcloud and on here. I did a rough recording recently of Solomon to Sheba and would love to get your feedback.

Well that’s everything for now. If you’d like to contact me, I’d love to hear from you.
